What class is best to start in?
Generally speaking, all classes labeled All Levels in our Class Descriptions page are a good place to start. In all of our classes, students are encouraged to work at their own pace and follow what they feel comfortable with. Take classes knowing that everyone had a first day too. You are here to learn something new and we give you the space and time to do so. All our instructors are happy to answer questions and help you find progress in your practice.
When should I arrive to class?
We open doors for check in 15 minutes before a class is scheduled to start. And we lock our doors when classes are in progress to avoid distractions. If you arrive after class has started, you will not be able to come in.
Should I register ahead?
Creating a student account online ahead of your first class helps the check in process.
You can set up your account from our Sign Up link and even purchase your New Client Offer and be set to register for classes all from the comfort of your computer. When you come in, you'll stop at the front desk and check yourself in using one of our iPads.
All of this can also be done at the studio. Our staff will be happy to walk you through the process.
How many times a week should I practice to feel results?
Optimal practice is three times a week. With that said, something is much better than nothing. We encourage our new clients to take advantage of the 30 days Unlimited Membership $45 so that they can visit, try out as many classes and instructors as possible. But also, to use those 30 days to create a habit in their schedule and incorporate a yoga practice routine.
Do I need a yoga mat?
You sure do! If you don't have one or forget it on your way to class, we have rentals for $2.
What should I wear?
Wear clothing that is both light and comfortable to move in. The temperature at the studio reaches 90 degrees.
Can I have water with me?
Yes, you are welcomed to bring a water bottle to the practice area so long as it has a lid that is tightly closed to avoid spills.
